HISTORY AT HARVARD 0На українській мові Русская версия
The U.S.-Ukrainian Investment Symposium is based on the successful model of its predecessor, the U.S.-Russian Investment Symposium, established in 1997 at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. By request from the Russian Prime Minister, Professor Graham T. Allison created the Symposium help strengthen economic relations between the U.S. and Russia through practical business and policy dialogue. Dr. Sergei Konoplyov of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard is Executive Director of the Ukrainian Investment Symposium
The Russian Investment Symposium's history has evolved with the changing political landscape and is the most widely renowned forum for leaders in business, government, academia, and finance to gain a deeper understanding of the region's investment climate and to advance new business opportunities. With the goal to launch this initiative into new geographic territory, a number of foundations and corporations supported the establishment of a non-partisan, non-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to hosting future Symposia.
